Community events are the foundation of the Pipeline Initiative, building broader community awareness and support of FIRST. Through community events, we also make important connections with our school district, local government, and individuals like teachers. These connections facilitate future outreach events, sponsorships, and more opportunities to increase support for the FIRST program. In recent years, community events have opened the door for 3786 to host STEM Club Jr, meet with the mayor of Kent, become the primary beneficiaries of the annual Kent Chamber of Commerce Gala & Auction
